Happy New Year!! I know, I know we are a little behind and nearly in February, but I'm posting this for a selfish reason... I must journal my first and best New Year's Eve with my family of four! I will say that we had no expectations for a wild and crazy NYE, or to even see midnight for that matter! We started the night at a men's shelter because TJ always serves Hoskin's Park Ministry on the 3rd and 5th Monday of the month. It was a lot of fun, and I think Grace and Bennett brought a little extra joy/entertainment to the men that night. Grace handed out all of the water bottles and I pretty much just held Bennett and smiled. We made cookies, and cupcakes for them and really enjoyed ourselves. Afterwards we came home and went across the street for a kid-friendly NYE party at our neighbor's. I believe one or both of the kids skipped their naps, so I figured we wouldn't last very long. Surprising us all they rang in the New Year right along with us. Grace even shared a New Year's kiss with her baby brother. It couldn't have been more perfect! Not TJ's best picture, but it was the only one, and it shows the four of us up at 11:51

I am just now looking at and loading my pictures from the last few weeks. It has been quite the holiday season. We had so much going on, but it was literally the most wonderful time of the year and I am bit sad it is over. Grace Taylor said this morning she wants Christmas to come up again... Me too. It's so hard to soak in all the magic of the season when so much is happening so fast. I suppose that's why we take photos, so we can relive and soak it in at a later time, which I know I will enjoying doing. Hope all had a Merry Christmas! So many picture posts coming soon... I promise!
