I know, I know I always say it but seriously too fast. This boy is growing up too fast. I'm seriously in denial that he is 6 months. I've been avoiding this post afraid to see it in writing, but for documenting purposes I must write... :). Little bear is growing up whether I like it or not. He is still as perfect as ever. If I had a guarantee my future babies would be this easy, I would have a dozen more. He is heaven sent. Here are Meatballs's stats. What a big boy he is going to be! Daddy is proud! Length 27 inches 72% Weight 18 pounds 61% Head circumference 44.5cm 72% He is also starting to sit up by himself, and we started solids. Big fan of bananas and sweet potatoes. Not a fan of apple sauce. :)

This past weekend TJ and I went down south for a college friend's wedding. It was a wonderful party and so nice to see so many friends from the past. Heather was a stunning bride and I am so happy for the new couple! We were hosted by my lovely friend Natalie and I just fell in love with her house and decorating style. She is truly gifted as a single mom juggling it all and keeping such an adorable house. Thought I would show you a glimpse of her fun Florida bungalow. Come on in... Perfect dining room for entertaining Her cozy living room Love all the stripes, patterns, and textures Breakfast nook Her guest suite Little Brody's Room Told you she was talented!

For the 3rd year in a row we headed to Blowing Rock for the weekend to celebrate. We were hoping to get away from the heat, but we still encountered some incredibly hot weather. We took the kids to the park in the morning and walked down to Main Street for the parade. It was the hottest day of the year in Blowing Rock, so we especially enjoyed our traditional stop at Kilwin's for icecream. It was actually nice to have the 4th fall in the middle of the week so we were able to enjoy our neighborhood parade. Grace and her friend down the street decorated her Barbie jeep and were the coolest girls on the block! We enjoyed lunch at our neighbor's after the parade. It was a great way to spend the day!

Summer is always so busy for us... With all the family in town, trips, weddings, and other stuff I find it hard to relax and enjoy the season. My brother and sister have been in town for a couple of weeks now, and my little ones are certainly enjoying the extra attention. The neighborhood pool is such a blessing. :)
