Adventures of a Stay at Home Mom

We all know it's hardly a glamorous job, but throw in a potty training two year old and a three month old "happy spitter" and you are at a whole other level! Easter weekend we brought out the little potty and a vase filled with Hershey kisses. Grace was off to a terrific start, child thrives on praise and now chocolate kisses so it made for easy training. We went 5 flawless, perfect days and then I don't know what happened... I suppose the praise weakened and she lost all motivation. :( This week our little princess has resulted in pooping on the floor right next to her potty, in her panties, or during naps when she has a pull-up on.... Also, she insists on moving her potty (which doubles as a step) to stand on and get her chocolate kiss. This is just fine, if I empty it first and supervise. Unfortunately not the case a couple times resulting in pee all over the floor... Ahhhh. Also, Bennett must be taking in more milk because he is throwing up more milk. I don't know what else to do. I tried no dairy in my diet, I tried no brocooli, I tried no peanut butter, and no Splenda.... He continues to give back everything he takes in covering himself and myself in spit-up. Lots and lots of poo and spit-up this week. I am beyond ready for the weekend! :) Also, I wanted to mention a giveaway on a other blog. An amazing artist, Kendall Boggs is giving away one of her darling dress paintings. I would so love to win it for Grace's room, but we will have to wait and see. http://kendallboggsfineart.blogspot.com/

Bennett at 3 Months

Mr. Bennett continues to grow too fast! He is starting to hold his head up by himself, he laughs when he is tickled, he is totally a Momma's boy, and he is in awe of his big sister. He also teased me last week by sleeping through the night two nights in a row! 10:00 until 7:00!!

Well, here he is in all of his chubby, sweet, adorable glory! My Chubbie Bubbie... I could literally eat him! :)

Weight: 14 pounds

Grandpa and Aunt Monica come to visit!

The past couple weeks have been such a blur. My Dad and little sister were in town visiting from Hawaii and with a house full of people, I have completely lost track of time. It was so nice to have them around. Grace Taylor loved the extra attention and it was their first time meeting baby Bennett or "little boog" as my Dad liked to call him. We also took a quick trip down to Seabrook to show my Dad our newly renovated place. The place is officially in rental mode so if you know anyone interested in a little getaway please send them our way! ;) http://www.vrbo.com/294605.
