A couple of weekends ago we made a quick trip up to my Uncle's place in Blowing Rock. It is so nice because an hour and half in the car and 20 degrees cooler we are in another world. We usually make the trip up there once a year the weekend after Thanksgiving to cut down our Christmas tree, but this past year we have been several times. It seems to offer something nice every season. Unfortunately, we picked the most crowded weekend ever! It was the peak of the leaves, and an App State football game. A lethal combination for the tiny town of Blowing Rock!

So a few weekends ago we drove up to UVA to see our friend Nash. I can't tell you enough how beautiful Charlottesville is! I think I could move there in a heartbeat. The campus is gorgeous with all of it's history. Beautiful brick and white columns everywhere you look. So stunning!
We were also able to see the Seminoles! It was perfect football weather, and we just popped a squat on the hill. Grace Taylor had the best time, and even learned the tomahawk chop! The drive up there wasn't bad at all and we loved visiting with our friend. Nash, please move back to Charlotte, we miss you!! All and all it was the perfect weekend getaway.

I am so sorry it has been to long since I said hello. Where to begin... Well, the Little family has been quite busy these days. For starters, we are still searching for a house. We have made offers on three different homes with no such luck. I am realizing more and more that the housing market especially in Charlotte is not as bad as we may have thought. We were hoping to pick up a sweet house for a super sweet price, but I guess others have the same idea. Oh, well I keep telling myself that our perfect house is out there and God has a plan for us and we will meet our house one day on God's time. Sound familiar? I swear house hunting must be exactly like dating! Well, hopefully I will update you one of these days with "the one."
We also have been doing some traveling. We went up to Charlottesville, VA the other weekend. T.J.'s good friend, Nash is getting his MBA at University of Virginia, and we decided to drop him a visit. We lucked out and were able to catch the Seminoles for the second time this season. I don't want to jinx it, but they are seriously on fire this year! :) We also spent last weekend up in beautiful Blowing Rock. It is so nice that my Uncle has an amazing condo there that he shares with everyone. Thanks Uncle B!!
Oh, and this weekend I am heading down to Seabrook for a quick trip (24hrs). T.J. can spend some quality father-daughter time with Grace, and I can get some work done. Our goal is to have our little villa rent-ready by February! Anyone need a vacation spot by the sea?
Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying my favorite season!! I promise to have lots of pics coming soon...
